One of the most powerful ways to bring God’s love to people is through His Word. God says that His word “will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11). At CLC Multi-Language Media, we are passionate about bringing God’s Word to people in their heart language! Many of our customers are also involved in the precious mission of bringing the Word of God to people worldwide.
Mary Smith is one such friend, who at age 73, has been serving God in Uganda for the past 17 years where she teaches in churches and ministers in the prisons. She recently sent us an encouraging testimony of what God is doing through her work there with the inmates of Kigo Prison.
“Pastor Medi and I have given out Bibles to the inmates and have been running competitions. We challenged them to memorize entire books of the Bible in exchange for 35,000 shillings ($7) and I have never seen such a difference in attitudes! Pastor Medi said that the TVs are off when he goes by the wards, and everybody has their Bibles out.
I can’t tell you how excited everybody was, laughing and clapping for the man who memorized Galatians, Ephesians, and several chapters of Revelation. When this man arrived at Kigo Prison 8 months ago, he was described as “crazy,” but everyone recognizes the change in him now as he spends time memorizing the Word. Praise God!”
